How to get and equip Scrolls
- 01
Look for drops during progression
Collect enemy and boss drops while clearing Acts. Use the enemy loot panel to choose a specific target.
- 02
Compare Auction House listings
Check the item’s full effect and any extra power. Two copies with the same base Scroll can have different added properties.
- 03
Equip in Gear → Equipment
Only one Scroll can occupy the slot. Confirm the selected Scroll before a boss run and remember the once-per-battle limit.
Best Scroll for the situation
Recovery: Renewal
A practical choice when your next run is limited by healing. The party-wide restoration scales with each recipient’s maximum HP.
One dangerous enemy: Void Rift
Use its single-target focus and Weakened effect when controlling one enemy matters more than spreading damage.
Groups: Blade Storm
Its random targeting spreads seven strikes. Random distribution is why it should not be treated as a guaranteed focused finisher.

Questions players ask
Does a Scroll prefix replace its ability?
The guide reports that extra powers such as Chilling or Venomous add effects without replacing the base ability. Read the exact copy rather than relying on the prefix alone.
Is Out-of-Office Memo always best?
We prefer Renewal for reliable recovery or Void Rift for one dangerous enemy. Choose Out-of-Office Memo when the powers on your copy improve the build you are playing.
