Our first support pick is an Avian or Woodland pet with Energy Heal unlocked. A companion that lets you cast the next skill is useful immediately. For a more offensive setup, look at an Automaton with Attack and Electric.
Best pet for your build
| Your problem | Our pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Frequent Meditate turns | Robin / Phoenix Chick, or a Woodland pet with Energy Heal | The Energy skill adds 1 Energy, with a rare 2-Energy result. Use the pet that has it unlocked. |
| Low health in long fights | Moss Fawn or an Aquatic pet with Heal | Recovery complements a damage-focused class. |
| You already have enough healing | Gear Golem or Tin Bot with offensive skills | Attack improves Bite damage; Electric adds a stun chance. |
| A dangerous enemy turn | A companion with Decoy | Fortify helps cover a vulnerable round. |
Keep an upgraded companion with useful unlocked skills over a fresh pet whose useful abilities are still locked. That is why we recommend from the Ranch skill panel as well as the pet’s name.

How to hatch, equip and fuse pets
- Open the Ranch and hatch an egg in the Hatchery.
- Open My Pets, choose a companion and select Bring Along. You can equip one pet.
- Take it into battles for XP, or inspect the Feed preview to trade spare items for growth.
- For fusion, select the recipient and an eligible matching donor. Review the Knowledge cost before confirming: the donor is consumed.
Your pet builds Charges while fighting. Its charged action can supply damage or one of its unlocked support abilities. Enemies do not attack the pet.
