Changing class: know which choice you mean

“Change class” can mean three different actions. Identify the one you want before using an item or confirming a permanent selection.

  1. 01

    Choosing a base class

Choose a base class when creating a hero. To try a different starting weapon and kit, create another hero.

  2. 02

    Choosing a Super branch

Choose a Super branch at the Trainer’s Shrine card in Act 2, The Dungeon. Plan the Ultra destination before making this permanent choice.

  3. 03

    Awakening an Ultra

Use the Ultra Sigil matching your current Super branch. Awakening follows the branch; it is not a way to jump to a different base class.

Examples that prevent wasted items

Mage example

Summoner advances to Archon. A Doomcaller item belongs to Hexer, even though both start from Mage.

Fist example

Monk advances to Transcendent; Oni advances to Shura. Their Sigils and farming targets should not be mixed.

Spear example

Dragoon advances to Dragonlord. Dragon race is a different system and is not an interchangeable class unlock.
